Thanks LULAC for the award. I was out of the country on my journey to see the beautiful creation in action from a front row seat by the creator YHWH. The paths we make and life we live, Authenticity will always be my guide. Being a community supporter and activist is simply living by example, reflecting and mirroring back that there is more to life in life. That its precious and not meant to be taken for granted. That people deserve to break the chains, boxes and generational patterns that plague our communities. I am late with this response because I wanted to let it stand for the women of Brown communities striving to be and do better than what was laid out and expected for them.
