Police whistleblowers are punished and retaliated against by CPD and then by a City that spends hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars defending their lawsuits trying (and usually failing) to prove they are liars instead of making things right for them. Until that changes, a police whistleblower will continue to be a very rare kind of hero.
