I love orchids,

I often admire Victorian-era homes, usually from the exterior. Rarely do I see one that has been updated and maintained in a way that doesn’t completely disconnect it from its origins. Or on that doesn’t look like a stuffy museum.

While the bathrooms aren't for me, this one is well done; I love it!

It was built by the lumber baron family that gifted Chicago the still-amazing Goodman Theater. The Goodman family plot in Graceland Cemetery is also special.
