My Client was REALLY down, because not one person wanted to come and tour the property once we hit the market. NOT ONE! He truly had pride of ownership, loving the neighborhood he called home for nearly 35 years.

Having first purchased back in 1991, he spent months overseeing renovations, and first tried reselling for a whopping $279.9K in '92. Unable to move the property through Aug '93, he took it off the MLS and for years thereafter had a "construction-sized" FSBO sign that I'd pass by as a teen and young man.

Fast forward to October 2023, the owner and I connected over another property he owned in nearby Avondale, and wanted to share that property's info in case I had any buyers who might be interested. We stayed in touch here and there until 2 years later. Meeting 1 of many (25 scheduled on my calendar, countless pop-in visits to the office, along with phone calls (from pre-dawn to well after sunset)).

I can share story upon story, but the purpose of this video is because my Seller REALLY wanted prospective Buyers to see his property and appreciate the work he put into it. His heart, his soul, and his sanity. He had hoped that others would see what he saw back in '91...opportunity - the chance to roll up your sleeves and literally make a home your own - and...build equity...over time.
