Wyoming parents & coaches:
Are high school gym, pool, and field fees making it harder for your kids’ teams to practice?
Right now, many youth clubs in Wyoming are being priced out of school gyms, pools, and fields by excessive “rental” fees. SF0090 – School facilities‑use fees – fixes that by capping what districts can charge youth clubs at the actual incremental hourly cost of personnel, equipment, and utilities, and requiring an itemized breakdown of those costs on request.
This means:
• No more 1,000%+ markups on youth sports using public facilities.
• Transparency: districts must show how they calculated the fee when you ask.
• More kids on the mat, in the pool, and on the field instead of being priced out.
