HIRING - IMMEDIATE OPENING
Joyce & Associates, LLC is hiring a paralegal/legal assistant for a full time position, Monday through Friday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) to work in person at the Chester, MD office - available immediately. Compensation up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience. Paid sick leave and vacation time each year. Health insurance and other benefits available after six (6) months of employment.
Job position requires great organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email, etc. Attention to detail is REQUIRED. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering telephone calls, transferring call, and taking messages;
- Drafting and responding to letters and emails;
- Drafting court pleadings;
- Filing pleadings through Maryland Electronic Court system;
- Document review;
- Managing Attorneys' calendars; and
- Assisting Attorney as requested
While experience is preferred, it is not required. We will provide training for the right individual.
