The BCBA YLD February feature is Young Lawyer Co-Trustee, Camille McKnight. Camille is a Deputy Attorney General in the Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
Prior to joining the Office of the Attorney General, Camille worked as an associate at two South Jersey firms where she focused her practice on education law and governmental and regulatory affairs. Camille also served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Family Division for the Honorable Susan F. Maven, J.S.C., Atlantic County from 2017-2018.
Camille graduated from Syracuse University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School-Camden in 2017.
After law school Camille became an active member of the Atlantic County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division. Camille currently serves as a co-trustee for the BCBA’s Young Lawyer’s Committee, as a mentor with the Rowan Pre-Law Society, and is also member of the Association for Black Women Lawyers, the Rutgers Law School Alumni Association Board of Trustees, Rutgers Alumni for Diversity, Inclusion, Community-Building & Access in Law “RADICAL,” and was a 2020 Honoree for Atlantic City Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 South Jersey Professionals.
Camille is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
