• Change your locks
• Transfer utilities
• Schedule that first mortgage payment

Closing costs = lender fees, title charges, inspections, taxes & insurance.
Expect to pay 2–5% of the purchase price. But…

• Some costs can be rolled into your loan

Ask your agent to break it down before you’re blindsided. Save this to build your homebuying budget right.

It protects you from:
• Fire
• Theft
• Vandalism
• Certain weather events
