Hello! It has been a while since I posted last. No specific reason. But time does have a way of getting away from me.
What do you think of this good old fashioned New England winter? It's been a while since we've seen this much snow.
That doesn't seem to discourage those who truly want to be married. And it has been my privilege to perform several weddings already this year. It makes me happy to be around people who are happy!!

Letting you all know that I am going to discontinue using the 978-251-1874 number and switch to my cell, which is 978-944-3906.
Since I am out and about so much (just a social butterfly these days) it seems to make sense.

I look forward to hearing from you and answering your questions and seeing you happy.

Hello. What do you think of this good old fashioned New England Winter? I rather enjoy it ... looking out of my living room window.

A lot has happened since my last post. My commission as a Justice of the Peace expired last summer. Do I request to be renewed or stop doing something I enjoy ... working with happy people!
Well, I was renewed and am going to enjoy marrying couples for another almost 7 years. I am not traveling as far as previously but that doesn't mean you can't ask.
If I can answer any questions or help you plan a ceremony, please consider my experience and expertise.
I love to see people smile and I smile right along with you!

Good morning.
Yesterday I was told that my web site has been hacked and was therefore taken down. I am exploring alternatives. And heaven help me I am not sure I still have pictures and content to draw on.
Any suggestions!!
Thank you all for your patience.

Good morning. It is a lovely day but we are being told to expect the temperature to rise! Stay safe!

It has been a hectic time for our household these last few months. As a result unfortunately I have had to refer out to other JPs a number of times. We seem to be looking at a more manageable schedule come September, so I hope to be more involved.

In addition we discovered that our answering machine had been shut off!! So we now have a new system that I hope will connect to my cell phone. Technically adept I am not, so it may take a while to get the hang of it. In the meantime, we are enjoying our families and our successes in dealing with our challenges. We hope you are all doing well and making the most of the longer days. Wishing you all good health and smile times.

Good morning! I look down our street and see the flowering trees, the grass nice and green and the flowers and shrubs showing off and think how lovely it is this time of year. It is wedding season!
It has been my privilege to help couples get married for 41 years.
My commission will lapse in another couple of years and I may not ask to be renewed. After all, I am getting older! But I look forward to being around happy couples for as long as I can. So please remember that I am ready to answer any questions you may have.

Because getting married is such a personal exchange I have not asked for reviews! That may be why you don't see many! But I have been busy for all these years! Word of mouth has been my best advertising.

Happy Spring!

Hello! Hopefully you are safe and warm on this ever so cold day of February in New England. We really can't complain, though. But please take any and all necessary precautions if you must go out.
I am certainly grateful that no one had called asking for an out-door wedding this weekend!
So far 2023 is progressing without any real hiccups, at least for me and my family. Wedding season is year-round and weddings are all shapes and sizes. Remember - Valentine's Day is only 11 days away.
As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me and I will do my best to give you the proper answers.

Good morning! We are almost entering 2023! New chapter, new beginnings. Time to take stock of where we've been and where we are going. Life can be short, so we should learn to make the most of our days and enjoy the people around us (as well as our four-legged companions!)
The year has been good to my family. And I have had the honor and pleasure of meeting so many lovely couples. It gives me such a feeling of warmth to see people happy.
My wish for all of you is a Happy, Healthy 2023!

Good morning! It has been some time since my last post. No excuse! Just life.
My husband and I are in Maine and questioning why we don't have air conditioning in our little get-away.
The heat and humidity have me thinking and worrying about couples who choose to have their weddings out-of-doors and perhaps not considering the need for shade and water, both for themselves and their guests.
During my long career as a Justice of the Peace, I have had 2 grooms faint during the ceremony. Both times it was a hot, humid day. One was inside and the other outside in the sun. Perhaps wedding jitters played a part, but ......?
So as I look forward to my upcoming wedding schedule I am hoping that we will all be safe and comfortable.
As always, please do not hesitate to give me a call if you think I can help you in regards to your wedding plans.
Happy rest of the summer.

Good afternoon. It's a beautiful day. Temps are cold, but the sun is shining. We are, after all, still experiencing Winter in New England.
Masks are still being worn by many people. It appears that we are beginning to tame the Covid virus. People are pushing to be social again. Gatherings are getting a little larger.
And couples haven't stopped wanting to get married.
It makes me happy to see happy people, which is why I love my job.

Please remember if you have any questions, I might just have the answers!

Good morning! We do live in New England. It looks pretty slushy outside. Makes me glad I don't have to go out in this mess. We can honor Martin Luther King by remembering his ideals and lessons.

Wedding season is all year and 2022 is proving to be a busy year. Couples who have put off wedding plans are working on Plan B and couples planning weddings are including a Plan B. Many are hoping for the opportunity to be outside as they exchange their vows.

I can only add that "love is in the air". It never seems to go out of style.

What a beautiful day today- November 6, 2021! Cool and crisp but comfortable for walking. And that's just what we did. Thank you all for your patience. It has been quite some time since I've posted anything. You must have thought I fell off the planet. Not quite. But I have certainly been on a journey. The toughest part ends Monday. Without getting into any gory details .... I have been turning away or referring out weddings for the past couple of months. But I am ready to accept bookings again, beginning next month - December.
So please do not hesitate to give me a call and I will do my best to work with you.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
