Happy July! We are in Maine for the week-end and surprise, surprise - it is raining and cool. So my husband and I are sitting inside, drinks in hand, both of us attacking our respective computers before settling in for a game of cribbage.
And this also gives me time to reflect on my activities as a Justice of the Peace.
Marrying couples is an activity I have enjoyed participating in since 1982! Where has the time gone? Yes, I have definitely been slowing down, not traveling as far afield as I used to. But I still enjoy helping happy couples "tie the knot".
Recently I eliminated the office number (....1874} and requested the forwarding number of 978-944-3906 (my cell). Unfortunately Verizon "neglected" to forward. Hopefully if you know of anyone who has tried to reach me, they found me anyway!
I am still here and look forward to hearing from any of you who feel the urge to reach out!

Hello! It has been a while since I posted last. No specific reason. But time does have a way of getting away from me.
What do you think of this good old fashioned New England winter? It's been a while since we've seen this much snow.
That doesn't seem to discourage those who truly want to be married. And it has been my privilege to perform several weddings already this year. It makes me happy to be around people who are happy!!

Letting you all know that I am going to discontinue using the 978-251-1874 number and switch to my cell, which is 978-944-3906.
Since I am out and about so much (just a social butterfly these days) it seems to make sense.
