Taking a break and watching some of the . The reporters are talking about how Keith Davidson, the attorney for Stormy Daniels, always looks at the jury when he answers questions. You see this with "professional witnesses" such as law enforcement, experts, folks used to testifying and being in court. And very often I'll tell witnesses to do that, IF, they feel comfortable doing so. During direct examination, the witness is the star. You should be in the background, the director giving them an opportunity to tell their story.

tell your clients who are in custody, not only are they not to talk to friends and family about their case on the jail phones, but they also shouldn't call friends/family and have them 3-way you on the call. All jail calls are recorded, except the ones to their attorney. But when they call you on 3 way, there is no Attorney Client Privilege.

Recently wrapped up a 3 week 1st degree murder trial. The jury voted 10-2 for Not Guilty, and the DA dismissed the case. We always felt like we had a good case. Client maintained his innocence thruout, but trials are always gamble. Like the judge told us, no matter how good or bad your case may be, when you leave the decision in the hands of 12 people, anything can happen. Can't win them all, but helping someone return to their life and family, is a great feeling.
