Sometimes you don’t realize how much you needed to pause until you finally do.

Last year at the Tom Ferry Summit, we did a guided meditation that completely caught me off guard. I spent most of it crying. Not out of sadness, but because it hit me all at once — my life is actually good. The kids are okay. The hard things I had been carrying for a long time were behind me. For the first time in a while, I could just breathe.

And honestly… I leaned into that peace for a while. Maybe longer than expected.

Over the past six months, I focused on work–life balance and making peace in my life a real priority. I slowed down, stepped back from posting, and gave myself permission to just be present.

The funny thing? You probably wouldn’t even know that during that same time I had my second-best year ever in real estate. One more closing and it likely would have been my best year.

Now I’m in Nashville this week at the Real Estate Video Blueprint conference, and it feels a bit like a reset. The peace was important. It still is. But it’s also time to step back into the work that grows my business and connects me with more people I can help.

Balance matters. But so does momentum.

Here’s to the next chapter.
