We are down to the FINAL hours to get Bethel Elementary’s remaining cafeteria balance completely cleared, and we are SO close. ❤️

Over the last couple of days, our community has already stepped up in such a big way, and it has honestly been incredible to watch. Parents, neighbors, friends, and local businesses have all started rallying together to help make sure school funds stay focused on students, teachers, and classrooms where they belong.

But we still have a gap to close before tomorrow.

As someone who has been here since we were teeny tiny, under 2,000 brokers just five years ago, this gave me goosebumps!🔥

I can’t help but think back to how many people thought I was crazy for making the move to what was, at the time, a very small startup company. It was the middle of a hard season of life and business, and on paper I’m sure it didn’t make sense to a lot of people. But sometimes the best decisions don’t make sense to everyone else in the moment. Look at us now.

That move changed the trajectory of my business in more ways than I could have imagined. It gave me the freedom to grow, the confidence to think bigger, better opportunities for my family, and the ability to build a business that was not only successful, but sustainable. Since making the switch, I’ve been able to scale my business, serve more families, and create a career I’m truly proud of.

Cabarrus County Schools families and staff:

Due to hazardous road conditions in parts of our county, all Cabarrus County Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. There will not be a make-up day due to additional hours built into the calendar.

KIDS:PLUS will not operate, and all athletic, extra-curricular, and community use events and activities are cancelled for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, as well.

Employees should check staff email or visit the Finance Department website for reporting instructions.

Did you know...👀
..The Fed has already tipped its hand: a rate cut is almost locked in for September 17th.

Markets are already reacting, and mortgage rates have dropped ahead of it (along with help from a weak jobs report).

For buyers, that shift translates into tens of thousands more in purchasing power compared to just a few months ago...

So what does that actually mean?

Buyers: Homes that felt out of reach earlier this year may suddenly fit the budget.

Homeowners: Refinance opportunities are back on the table, putting real savings in play each month.

But don’t assume this trend will last. A Fed cut doesn’t lock mortgage rates into a downward path. We’ve seen the opposite happen before.
