This is a very important win for Immigrants in removal proceedings who did not receive a proper Notice to Appear (charging document in Removal Proceedings in Immigration Court). I am proud to have been able argue this case in the Fourth Circuit and secure the rights on not just our client, but the likely thousands in the same situation as her.

A removal order against a Salvadoran woman and her son was overturned by a split Fourth Circuit, which found that two notices of an immigration hearing that she ultimately missed lacked the information necessary to be considered proper notices.
