What are some must-haves in your home?

For Alex & I, we always want to have a movie room. In both places we've lived, we have a living room area with a projector, screen, and our popcorn machine. It's the most used room in the house to hang out! We are also thinking about creating a home gym now that the baby has arrived since it's hard to get to our actual gym.

😱 The biggest fear we've been seeing with homebuyers lately is the thought that the housing market is going to crash. A lot of new buyers entering the market remember the dreaded 2008 recession, but it's NOT the same.

🔎 In fact, 4 of the last 6 recessions, home prices appreciated! The recession of 2008 was a direct cause of a housing market crash due to bad appraisal and lending standards. There are stricter standards and safeguards in place now.

🏡 Prices are still appreciating on homes, and they are projected to continue doing just that. Don't let the word recession scare you into thinking it's a bad time to buy or sell.
