In 2016, we set out to build a family law firm based on our combined skills, knowledge and experience. What we did not expect but appreciate more than anything else is the outpouring of support from our community. We are primarily referral based, which means clients we help have been provided our firm’s name from someone who knows and trusts us to represent clients well. This builds trust and it also helps realign us to our values when we meet a client for the first time and hear their story. As we reflect on 2025 and move into 2026 (our 10th year in business together) Hunt and Rebecca send their heartfelt gratitude to each and every person who has referred a client to us and helped us grow. We appreciate you and wish you a wonderful ending to 2025 and a very happy new year!

HUGE NEWS!! Wofford Law is heading to Southend near Uptown Charlotte! Our new location, effective September 15, 2025, will be 1220 S. Graham Street, Suite 102, Charlotte, North Carolina 20803.
Same good people - Attorneys Hunt and Rebecca Wofford and Legal Assistant Amanda Etters - ready to serve current and new family law clients in a new location that is close to uptown, I-277, Bank of America stadium (where we cheer on our favorite teams - the Charlotte FC and the Carolina Panthers) and the courthouse — but only if you need it. In December of 2016, Hunt Wofford and Rebecca Wofford opened Wofford Law. We are celebrating our 8th anniversary! We appreciate the support of our community in helping us grow our business so we can continue to represent clients in family law matters. Each year, we take a moment to pause and reflect on how we do our work and how we can improve our business. This year is no different. While we have gratitude for each year from 2016 through 2024, we are focused and excited about planning for 2025! More to come but, for now, we are grateful for 8 years of serving our community as family law attorneys!

For anyone in need of space —

I have been trying to think of ways I can help victims of Hurricane Helene and now Milton or anyone helping our neighbors in need.

My thoughts and prayers keep leading me to focus on abundance to counter scarcity and specifically on what resources I have to offer people.

For one, I have office space. If you know anyone who needs a quiet place to work, we can offer it to them. If you know a nonprofit that needs office or storage space, we can provide that.
