We are excited to announce that three attorneys at Hatcher Law Group have been recognized for the 2024 edition of North Carolina Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Super Lawyers states that only 5% of all attorneys in a state are recognized as Super Lawyers.

Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 2.5% of attorneys in North Carolina receive this distinction.

Hatcher Law Group is excited to announce Paul A. DeJesse Jr. has been elected as President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers – North Carolina Chapter.

The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (“AAML”) was created in 1962 and currently has 1500 Fellows in 50 states that have earned this distinction. The purpose of the AAML is: “To provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.”

The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers is comprised of some of the most skilled and knowledgeable family law attorneys in the country. To be considered a Fellow, the attorney must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and an ability to handle complex family law cases. Fellows are admitted through a lengthy and detailed application process that includes peer evaluation from other family law attorneys and Judges.

Paul A. DeJesse Jr. has been a Fellow of the AAML since 2020.
