Erin Rozzelle, Managing Attorney at Shepard Law will be at this incredible event! This is a partnership between Gold Key Real Estate Group, LLC and Oak Grove Baptist Church that is geared to educate members of the church and the community at large to show how homeownership can build their families legacy through building wealth through their home equity. Only 41% of African Americans are homeowners and the average net worth of African Americans is $17K. The Golden Road to Home is geared to change this trajectory through education, connection and information. This event will begin at 11am on Saturday, March 25, 2023 and will conclude at 1pm. Participants will have a chance to speak with lenders, inspectors, insurance professionals, real estate and estate attorneys and the Cities of Concord and Kannapolis will be there to discuss down payment assistance programs that they have to offer their citizens.
