How do you find an auctioneer you can trust with Mom and Dad’s house?
Start by doing a little homework.

I’m a licensed auctioneer in North Carolina and South Carolina, and here’s something a lot of people don’t realize: auction laws and licensing requirements can be different from one state to the next.

If your state licenses auctioneers, look for the state auctioneer list. Ask about education and experience. You can also ask an auctioneer you trust to help connect you with somebody in your area.

I’ve met auction professionals through the National Auction Association and through years of helping families put together sales in North Carolina and beyond. If I can help point you toward somebody reputable, ask me.

When somebody is helping you handle a lifetime of belongings—and the money attached to those belongings—I want you to feel confident about who you’ve hired.

CONSIDER THIS YOUR SIGN.⁣
Stop, turn up the sound—this is what 45 acres of peace sounds like.

🌳 NEW PRICE | This just got very interesting and we need to talk about this one.⁣

You can update a house. ⁣
You can remodel a kitchen. ⁣
You can change just about anything about a property.⁣

But you can’t make more LAND.⁣
That’s what makes 34272 Mabry Road in Albemarle such an incredible opportunity.⁣

Now offered at $999,900, this Stanly County property gives you approximately 45 acres of wooded trails, open spaces, barns, mature trees and the kind of privacy that is getting harder and harder to find.⁣

And sitting in the middle of all that acreage is a beautiful brick home that brings plenty to the table on its own. Hardwood floors, abundant natural light and an updated kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, a large gathering island and a dedicated coffee bar make the inside just as inviting as the land outside. Upstairs, the private primary suite feels like a retreat of its own, while the bonus room gives you flexibility for an office, hobbies, guests or whatever comes next.⁣

But let’s be honest—the star of this property is what happens when you walk out the door.⁣

Forty-five acres to explore. Room for animals. Room for equipment. Room for hobbies. Room to disappear into the woods for a while and hear absolutely nothing. Now that’s JOY!⁣

For buyers searching for acreage in Stanly County, a private estate in Albemarle, NC, a home with land, an equestrian or hobby property, or simply a place where your closest neighbor doesn’t need to be quite so close—this NEW PRICE deserves another look.⁣

Because houses can be changed.⁣

45 acres? That’s the opportunity.⁣

Call me, let’s grab a cup of coffee, and go walk it.⁣

🚨 NEW LISTING | 5.363 ACRES IN CONCORD, NC
Opportunity & OPTIONS

Sometimes the most interesting real estate opportunity isn’t about what’s sitting on the property today—it’s about what could be there tomorrow.

133 Odell School Road in Concord offers 5.363 acres in a rapidly growing area of Cabarrus County, and if you’re an investor, developer, business owner, or someone looking for land with future potential, there are several reasons to pay attention to this one.

👉 Start with TWO road frontages. The property offers approximately 457 feet of frontage along Odell School Road plus approximately 930 feet along the Cessna Road side. Of the total acreage, approximately 4.086 acres are upland outside the Cessna Road right-of-way, giving a future buyer an interesting canvas to explore.

The property currently includes a well-maintained home and carport, mature hardwoods, some cleared acreage, and overhead power along the frontage. But it’s the location and surrounding development that may make this Concord property particularly interesting for the right buyer.

👉 Currently zoned CR, the seller is willing to cooperate with rezoning requests, opening the door for buyers to investigate potential future uses. Commercial and industrial uses are already located across Odell School Road and beyond the adjoining tract, with active quarry operations adjacent to the property and residential uses to the rear.

The property is also located within the City of Concord Airport Overlay District, so applicable height and use standards will need to be considered as part of any development or rezoning plans.

In other words, don’t just look at what 133 Odell School Road IS today.
Look at the land.
Look at the road frontage.
Look at what’s happening around it. And then start asking what it COULD be.

The preliminary recombination plat combines two parcels into one 5.363-acre tract, with recording and option strike pending. The entire 5.363 acres will convey as one parcel at closing.

If you’ve been searching for Concord NC land for sale, Cabarrus County investment property, acreage with road frontage, commercial development potential, industrial development land, or property near the Concord airport area, let’s talk about this opportunity.

Contact Leigh Brown or Liz Lanning for property details, zoning information, the preliminary plat, or to schedule a time to walk the property.

🏃‍♀️ There are a few things running will teach you pretty quickly.

Starting is easier when somebody goes with you.

That first mile? Whew. It can be downright miserable—and it doesn’t really matter how long you’ve been doing this. Sometimes you just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other until your body remembers what it came out there to do.

And after enough hot North Carolina mornings, you develop a whole new level of discernment. 😂 There is absolutely a difference between 75 degrees and 79 degrees at 6 AM, and I will testify to it!

Turns out, our walk with Jesus looks a whole lot like that.

Hebrews 5 reminds us that we don’t begin our faith journey knowing everything. New believers need milk before they’re ready for solid food. We need somebody willing to come alongside us, teach us, encourage us, answer the questions, and keep walking when that first mile gets hard.

But we aren’t supposed to stay on milk forever.

As we grow in our faith, we develop spiritual discernment. We begin recognizing what is good and what is evil. What draws us closer to God and what quietly pulls us away. What brings His peace and what invites the world’s chaos into our lives.

Friend, if you’re new to following Jesus—or maybe you’ve been following Him for years but you’re in a rough stretch right now—find somebody who will walk with you.
Find somebody who knows the road.

Keep showing up.
Keep opening your Bible.
Keep learning.
Keep praying.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Because that first mile won’t last forever.

And the stronger you become in your walk with Jesus, the better you’ll recognize the difference between the path that leads toward Him and all those paths trying to take you somewhere else.

Solid food, y’all. Keep growing. 🙏

🏡 WAIT… YOU CAN STILL BUY THIS FOR $250,000?

Yes. You can.

And we think a few buyers who have convinced themselves they can’t afford a home need to see 1620 Blueberry Street in Mount Pleasant.

This isn’t a condo. It isn’t a townhome. And you’re not sharing walls with anybody. This is an updated 1920 bungalow with a backyard, a paver patio, an outbuilding with electricity and plenty of personality—all offered at a NEW PRICE of $250,000.

Inside, somebody has already done a whole lot of the work for you. The kitchen has been updated with granite countertops and a big island that gives you room to cook, gather and spread out. The living spaces are bright and comfortable, the owner’s suite gives you room to retreat, and the updates throughout mean you can spend more time enjoying your home instead of immediately starting a project list.

Then walk outside. You have an actual backyard. Coffee on the patio. A place for the dog to run. A garden if that’s your thing. And that powered outbuilding could become a workshop, hobby space, storage—or whatever you’ve been wishing you had room for.

And you get all of this in Mount Pleasant, where you’re minutes from downtown, local restaurants, shops and community events—and you can still experience the kind of small-town North Carolina where you’re likely to recognize somebody when you’re out running errands.

At $250,000, this could be an opportunity for a first-time buyer, someone ready to stop renting, or anybody who has decided they simply don’t need a giant house and a giant payment to have a really good life. Check it out: https://1620blueberrystreetmountpleasantnc.onepageproperties.com/

Sometimes MORE isn’t the goal.
Sometimes having enough—and having it somewhere you love—is even better. ❤️

Harrisburg may not feel quite as small as it used to—especially when you’re sitting in traffic—but it’s still the kind of town where you’ll run into somebody you know at the grocery store or the Y.
