The 2026 North Carolina Superlawyers ratings have been released. We are still in the process of getting our new address updated on all our various website appearances. Every time I think I have them all updated I find another one that needs it. For the record, here is our new address: 301 S. McDowell Street, Suite 1000, Charlotte, NC 28204. Suite 1000 is on the 10th floor facing downtown and the evening view can be spectacular!

The law firm has moved! As of November 1, we are now located at 301 S. McDowell St., Suite 1000, Charlotte, NC 28204. This building was formerly known as the "Cameron Brown Building" and is right across the street from Marshall Park. We have plenty of free parking in an open lot shared with Hotel Meridian and we will validate your parking ticket when you come for an office conference.

We lost our attorney Chad Winebarger last Friday. Chad was a good man who cared a lot about his clients and always did his best for them. We are very sad and we are going to miss him a great deal. Rest in Peace, my friend.

For our clients---working people---the Labor Commissioner here in NC is an important position. I will be voting for Braxton Winston, who is a working man himself. His opponent, Luke Farley, is an attorney who represents companies who are trying to get their penalties reduced after they get fined for unsafe workplaces.
