September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month and, as a sponsor of this year's charity gala to support mental health treatment programs for youth and adolescents, we have teamed up with Ballantyne Ball and HopeWay to sponsor 100 Client Welcome Totes before the end of the month. Ovarian cancer is a hard-to-detect disease. The most common signs are often related to other illnesses or may seem vague, so it's important to monitor your body and discuss persistent symptoms with a doctor.

Remember the acronym B.E.A.T. to know what to look out for:

B ➡️ Bloating that never seems to go away

E ➡️ Eating difficulties and feeling full too quickly

A ➡️ Abdominal and pelvic pain

T ➡️ Toilet habits change (urination or bowel habits)

Ovarian cancer is diagnosed in later stages 80% of the time because the signs and symptoms are much like other illnesses—bloating, abdominal pain, trouble eating or feeling full quickly, changes in bowel and menstruation patterns, back pain— and, there is no screening test for ovarian cancer. It is up to women to recognize persistent irregularities and advocate for themselves.

That's why our firm has teamed up with Ballantyne Ball and SherryStrong on a month-long campaign to sponsor SherryStrong Chemo Boxes. Chemo Boxes filled with comforting items are given to newly diagnosed patients beginning chemotherapy treatment.
