Charlotte was just named America's most underrated city.*

The growth came first. Four pro teams inside one metro. Then, an ever-adapting culinary scene began to grow. Greenways and trails that run through the neighborhoods rather than around them, whether you walk them or ride them. None of that is news to anyone who lives here. It's about time we're getting noticed!

Out back, a heated in-ground pool and a wide deck over a fenced yard. Two car garage, concrete drive, and an easy shot to Carmel Road and Park Road.

Offered at $709,000.

Charlotte's residential resale inventory hit 13,082 homes in June 2026, the most since before the pandemic. That's a 5.6% increase year over year, giving buyers more room to compare and sellers more competition to plan around.

If you're weighing a move this year, let's talk about what more inventory means for your specific search or listing.

New price in Oakhurst.

2025 Evolve Way is now offered at $450,000. It's the townhome I'd send a friend who wants low-maintenance living without giving up great a greenspace: it backs a wooded tree line that won't be developed, so the privacy and the view stay yours.

Inside, the main level is the heart of the home, with an open kitchen, dining, and living, a full bedroom and bath on a separate level, and a top-floor primary suite with a walk-in closet and double vanity. A firepit lounge and walking trails out your door, steps from Common Market and The Teal Turnip.

3 beds, 3.5 baths, 1,717 square feet, built in 2023.

Want a private tour or the full feature sheet? Send me a message.

Inside, the second floor is the heart of the home: an open kitchen, dining, and living, with a full bedroom and bath on the main level for flexibility, and a top-floor primary suite with a walk-in closet and double vanity. Outside your door, a firepit lounge and walking trails, and you're steps from Common Market and The Teal Turnip.

The cocktail pool, the plunge pool, the spool. Different names for the same idea: a small pool built for gathering, not laps.
They're the fastest-growing pool category heading into 2026, and it's easy to see why. Smaller lots. Lower cost to build and run. A backyard you actually use.
But here's what the trend posts leave out. A pool is a lifestyle decision first. Nationally, they rarely return what they cost at resale, and condition matters more than size. Build it because you'll love it, not because you think it's an investment.
Thinking it through before a buy or sell? That's a conversation worth having early.

Brent has watched me do this work for years. The late-night what-ifs. The deals that try to fall apart at the worst possible moment. The walls I want to knock down in houses that aren't even ours.

This time he was on the other side of it. He had a home to sell, and I was the one selling it.

"Michael has been so helpful with the entire selling of my property. His knowledge/expertise surpasses many others in his field. He has your best interest at hand. His interaction with you is not transactional based only, he wants the best for you whether you are the seller or his buyer client. I recommend him to anyone with hesitation or reservation. "

Brent Becnel

Being honest, because that's the whole point: Brent is my husband. He was also my client on this one, and these are his words, not mine.

It's a bittersweet day for us as we close on the sale of a property that has literally been our sanctuary in Charlotte. Brent and I are thrilled that it's going to amazing people that will love it as much as we did.

Thank you, 1201 Marlwood Terrace, for every morning, every dinner, and every quiet evening in between.

Myers Park, you have our hearts. On to the next chapter.
