To celebrate our partnership, Jason McConnell was the ceremonial puck-dropper at a recent Checkers game. Our team also saw the Checkers beat Lehigh Valley last weekend!

The Checkers have clinched a spot in the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs, but they are still battling for seeding in the Atlantic Division. Make your plans to come to a game at Bojangles Coliseum and support the Checkers' quest for the Calder Cup.

Mehta & McConnell is pleased to announce that attorney Jason McConnell was recently admitted as a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Mr. McConnell recently negotiated a settlement in the amount of $2.75 million for an injured worker who suffered serious spinal injuries after being struck by a load of falling metal doors. Mr. McConnell ensured our client received a settlement that fairly compensated him for his economic loss, housing, transportation, and future medical and personal care needs.

Jason McConnell and Viral Mehta were named 2026 Super Lawyers by Super Lawyers Magazine! Both attorneys were recognized in the practice area of Workers’ Compensation law.
