One new hotspot in Charleston is Park Circle. This trendy, artsy community is North Charleston's best kept secret! With all of the Derby/Cinco de Mayo parties this weekend I didn't want you to miss the annual North Charleston Arts Festival! The festival is a multi-day celebration of arts and culture highlights spread throughout North Charleston at various venues. A lot of the events are free or at a low cost so everyone at all ages and income levels may enjoy the arts! Today is Day 3 and you can still check out the Arty Block Party in the Olde Village area of North Charleston

You have all heard it…
The housing market is on fire in Charleston. But do you know the REAL numbers?

Although the number of homes closes in down 2% over last year, it is up 11% over 2016. The median sales price is up 7% over last year to $262,000 and the average sales price is up 7% to $355,663.

The good news? The MLS in the Tri-County shows 1,631 home closed in March, 2018. That is the highest number of homes sold in March in the last 10 years!

The bad news? Lots of multiple offers that leads to lots of frustration!

As a Realtor, I have the honor of helping people with their goals and dreams of home ownership. Working with an unbelievable team of professionals (mortgage, insurance, title, inspectors, builders, etc.), I have had the pleasure of handing over the keys to a first time home buyers new home, or the keys to a family beach house for the kids and grandkids, or to a smaller home or condo, because everyone has grown up and moved away.

This week, I want to CONGRATULATE my friend and client, Melissa Korzecke, on buying her first home! We looked at so many homes, and just couldn’t find one that felt just right. So, we went the new construction route, and she couldn’t be happier! It was a pleasure to work with you, and I am so proud of you! Enjoy your beautiful new home!
