Our Story
Tara Lang is an attorney primarily handling bodily injury and criminal cases. She has over fifteen years of litigation experience. She also handles family law matters, including guardianship, adoption, divorce and child custody/visitation cases. She is a certified Guardian Ad Litem.
Ms. Lang received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Mississippi. Following law school, she served as a clerk for the Fifth District Appellate Court in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and then worked as an appellate attorney in the Southern Illinois area primarily handling appeals of complex Jones Act, FELA and products liability cases.
Ms. Lang is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Illinois, the Northern District of Mississippi, the Southern District of Mississippi, the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States Circuit Courts for the Fifth, Seventh, Eighth and Tenth Circuits. Ms. Lang is or was a past member of the following organizations: American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Mound City Bar Association, St. Clair County Bar Association, Madison County Bar Association, and the Illinois Appellate Lawyers Association.
