If you are looking for ways to help those who have been affected by Hurricane Ian, We have put together a list of some of the charitable organizations accepting donations.
The Florida Disaster Fund

The State of Florida’s official private fund established to assist Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster. In partnership with the public sector, private sector and other non-governmental organizations, the Florida Disaster Fund supports response and recovery activities.

By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to survivors of disasters quickly and effectively.
The Red Cross

You can visit redcross.org, call 800-RED-CROSS, or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation today. If you donors specifically want to donate to victims of Hurricane Ian, the Red Cross asks that they write "Hurricane Ian" in the memo line of a check and mail it to their local Red Cross chapter with a completed donation form to the address on the form or to their local Red Cross chapter.
The Red Cross is also asking people to donate blood if possible, especially Type O which is routinely in short supply.
