My first trip to The Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning is in the books! 👩🏼‍💼💼🌴

As a solo practitioner and entrepreneur it is easy to get mired down in the day to day details of getting it all done.

Add to that being a mom and primary caregiver to two teenage sons and an aging parent and it's not hard to see how weeks turn into months and months into years while your head is down and focused on your "to do" list. 📋✔️

Thank you to everyone in both my personal and professional worlds who helped me realize that looking up was long overdue, that time spent investing in myself and my law practice is just as important as checking off the boxes and for encouraging me to finally attend the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning last month. ✈️👩🏼‍⚖️
