Lisa and Jennifer enjoyed serving with the Chapin Sunrise Rotary Club packing food bags for children in need in our area to have food over the weekends. Thank you so much to the Chapin Women in Service for their hands-on support and generous donation to the snack pack service project!
There’s something special about a group of people coming together to serve.
This week, instead of just meeting, members of Chapin Sunrise Rotary rolled up their sleeves and used their weekly gathering to pack snack bags for local school children in need. It was a simple but powerful reminder that service doesn’t always have to be complicated — sometimes it looks like showing up early, working side by side, and making sure kids have something to eat.
We were also incredibly grateful to have the Chapin Women in Service join us in the effort. Their helping hands made a difference, and their generous $2,000 donation to support the project will go a long way in helping us continue to care for children in our community.
This is what local impact looks like — neighbors helping neighbors, organizations working together, and a community choosing compassion.
Chapin is better when we serve together.
