We are proud to recognize Spiros Law Attorney Jennifer Eldridge for securing a $190K settlement on behalf of our workers’ compensation client.

Our client suffered a fall at work that resulted in a knee injury requiring surgery. Following her recovery, she was placed on work restrictions that limited her to sedentary work for no more than four hours per day. Jennifer worked closely with our client to help guide her toward employment that would meet her new limitations while continuing to move her case forward.

Jennifer also worked to fully evaluate our client’s future lost earnings, making sure no detail was overlooked. Her efforts resulted in a $190K settlement that helps address the income shortfall caused by the injury while allowing our client to continue working.

We are proud to recognize Spiros Law Founding Partner Jim Spiros and Partner Danielle Cain for securing a $1.837M settlement on behalf of our disabled client who was sexually assaulted while residing in a Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) in Central Illinois.

CILAs are community-based residences designed to provide supervision and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this case, the facility failed to provide the supervision and safeguards necessary to protect one of its vulnerable residents.

Jim and Danielle embodied our never back down attitude in the pursuit of justice for our client. Determined to hold those responsible accountable, they fought tirelessly on our client's behalf. Through their persistence and advocacy, they were able to obtain a meaningful result that will help provide support and security for our client moving forward.

In addition to achieving justice for our client, this case brought attention to staffing issues and regulatory concerns within the facility that are expected to lead to important policy changes aimed at helping protect future residents. We are grateful for Jim and Danielle’s commitment to standing up for vulnerable members of our community, pursuing accountability, and fighting for justice when it matters most!

Congratulations to Spiros Law Partner Alison Kimble on securing a $250K policy limits settlement on behalf of our client who was injured after being rear ended.

As a result of the collision, our client was transported to the emergency room by ambulance for treatment where it was found he suffered a fractured orbital eye socket and a cracked rib.

Alison worked to ensure the full extent of our client's injuries was recognized and fought to secure both a $250K policy limits settlement and coverage for all related medical care.

We are proud of Alison's commitment to protecting the rights of those injured through no fault of their own and helping our clients obtain the resources they need to move forward with their lives.
