As the culture of the company began to shift, Annalie decided to venture into building her own local coffee culture for neighbors, communities and professionals to gather and work away from home, have meetings outside of the office, or catch up with friends. It was both innovative & well-received, as the coffee-shop culture of the early 2000s was just understanding how to join different demographics in the same space without iPhones. Shocking, we know-–it’s hard to believe that less than 20 years ago we didn’t have iPhone to distract us while working, relaxing, or socializing at our “third place”. Annalie grew Erie Island Coffee Company, from a humble, seasonal a pop-up shop on Kelley's Island into a thriving business with retail locations, licensed concept locations as well as distribution relationships including Costco, Heinen’s, Cleveland Hopkins Airport, and others. What makes Annalie stand out is her unique approach to business: her belief in the importance of knowing her clients intimately and engaging with them on a personal level. She is distinguished in the field for her people-centric approach to business. This innate ability to connect with people and deliver an authentic real estate experience has proven to be the cornerstone of her successful enterprises. A fascination that sparked as early as she can remember, her love for real estate was nurtured through childhood evenings spent walking with her mother, a well-respected national illustrator and collage artist, to discuss architecture, color shape, or simply admire their neighboring century homes during their walks.In her capacity as a board member at the Lake and Geauga County Association of Realtors for 5 years and as a member of the Board of Directors for several years at the state level, Annalie relentlessly champions homeowner rights. As a Lakewood, Ohio native, Annalie possesses a unique understanding of both the East and Westside of Cleveland, making her a rare gem in the Cleveland real estate market. Having spent 50% of her life on the west side of Cleveland and now, 20 years on the east side of Cleveland, she keeps her feet, knowledge, and activism sharp on both sides of town.
