Today’s client was sentenced to 30 days in jail and a 1 year loss of license, for driving under suspension, prior to my representation. I filed an appeal and was able to negotiate a plea with a small fine, no jail and no license suspension.

3 clients today- 2 via Zoom and one in person!! 1. Third offense DUI. Negotiated plea for 3 days in jail. 2. First offense and possession of drugs ++. I was able to get client into first offenders program. No jail. No conviction. Saved 10 months of license suspension. 3. Two traffic citations including Reckless which is a 6 month suspension if convicted. Not guilty verdict on the Reckless charge at trial.

2 clients today. 1 was second DUI charge within 10 years. I was able to keep it as a a1st offenese and a sentence of 72 hours with credit for time served In rehab. 2nd one was first offense DUI with drug charges also. I was able to get him on the first offenders program avoiding the mandatory minimum jail sentence and the opportunity to keep his record clean. Great day so far.

2 clients today. Both DUI’s, both with accidents. One was a minor. I was able to get them both into the first offenders program. Saved both from jail and from a longer license suspension. They will be able to get their records expunged when they complete the program as minimize the affect this will have on future employment and other applications requesting background information. Great result for my clients. Also first hearing I attended from my car! Via zoom!

Today’s client had a 4th offense DUI. Represented client for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. He was facing mandatory minimum of over 2 years in jail. Client is going to end up with 30 days in jail and 40 days on house arrest. I was able to save him over 2 years of incarceration, likely in a state institution. Extremely happy client

New PA case says ARD disposition on prior DUI charge can not be used as a prior conviction for sentencing enhancement purposes. This is big but we’re not sure how each County is goi g to deal with it going forward it it’s looking good. Call us if you have any questions.
