* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills ongoing. Wind chills as low as
35 below zero.
* WHERE...North Park, the Park, Gore, Rabbit Ears, and Front Ranges,
the foothills, Palmer Divide, and urban corridor.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM MST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Exposed skin may become quickly frostbitten or frozen.
Wind chill values may fall to extremely dangerous levels. The
dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin
in as little as 10 minutes.
The combination of wind and cold temperatures will create
dangerously low wind chill values. Avoid outside activities if
possible. When outside, make sure you wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
