MEET MS. ESTHERMARY MENDEZ

Esther was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Central Florida. Ms. Mendez attended the University of Central Florida, earning a bachelor’s degree in International and Global Studies in 2020. While at UCF she was a member of the Moot Court team of 2019 and a member of the International Relations Club.

Ms. Mendez recently got accepted into Law School and will be beginning her law student career in August of 2022. Ms. Mendez has been with the firm for the past three years and is our seasoned veteran. Starting as an intern she worked her way up to the Paralegal position and hasn’t looked back since. While she now oversees the Family Law cases she has experience and has worked in all the legal departments at the firm.

Ms. Mendez believes that her role as a paralegal is to be the bridge between client and attorney. She strives to do her best to guide clients through the legal process in Family law and to make the Attorney’s job easier.

In her spare time, Ms. Mendez enjoys hiking, discovering new places to eat, visiting National Parks, listening to TrueCrime podcasts, and spending time with her adorable chubby cat and family.

Omayra Fuentes was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.

She attended the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities with a minor in photography. She also earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 2014, and was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar as well as the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.

Omy is the newest addition to the DCLG team. She currently serves as a paralegal for our criminal department, and she is also studying to take the Florida Bar Examination this summer. In her spare time, Omy enjoys exercising, gardening, editing videos, and spending time with her family and friends.

Tanya was born and raised in Mexico City. She moved to the U.S. at the age of 16, and went through the difficult process of obtaining her green card. Throughout this period, she overcame challenges that most immigrants face, such as learning a new language, transcending cultural barriers, securing housing, transportation, and employment.

Tanya has worked for Immigration Attorneys for 7 years and is currently a paralegal at David Chico Law Group’s civil division. She attended Valencia College where she earned an Associate Degree in Business, and later transferred to the University of Central Florida where she is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies. Her plan is to attend Law School and become a licensed attorney in Florida, focused on assisting underrepresented individuals in the community. In her spare time, Tanya enjoys volunteering, reading, running, and spending time with her loved ones.

MEET MS. MARGO REDMOND

Margo was born and raised in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Ms. Redmond attended Florida Institute of Technology, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2019.

Ms. Redmond is currently attending Barry University School of Law and will graduate May of 2022. While at Barry, Ms. Redmond was a member of the Environmental and Earth Law Clinic where she researched the legal implications of the Bert Harris Act and was able to provide assistance for the first rights of nature lawsuit in Florida. Ms. Redmond has also been with the firm as a Law Clerk since May 2020.

Ms. Redmond believes that an attorney should be an advocate for their client and truly understand the client’s goals. The client is Ms. Redmond’s top priority and she works to ensure the client understands and participates in each step.

In her spare time, Ms. Redmond enjoys spending time outside, playing golf, sailing, horseback riding, reading, and baking.

MEET MS. STEPHANIE NEAL

Stephanie is the Office Manager, Accountant, and the Swiss army knife of our office. There is nothing that Ms. Neal can’t do and she is irreplaceable.

Ms. Neal believes that each person brings value so she focuses on helping the client understand their role in the litigation process. Ms. Neal believes communication is the best way to foster any and all relationships.

In her spare time, Ms. Neal loves to play volleyball and you can find her happiest on the beach.

MEET ATTORNEY BRYANA CONNORS

She is an Osceola County native, who believes in serving her community by offering dedicated legal services and passionate representation. Prior to working as an Attorney with the David Chico Law Group, Mrs. Connors worked as an English teacher and cheerleading coach for the School District of Osceola County.

While attending Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, she gained insight into corporate law, working as a legal intern for Earl Enterprises, as well as, handled local environmental cases for the Environmental and Earth Law Clinic. Mrs. Connors holds an Honors Certificate in Environmental and Earth Law from Barry. Also during law school, she worked as a Research Assistant, as an Associate Editor of the Environmental and Earth Law Journal, and as a Dean’s Study Fellow.

Mrs. Connors is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, and admitted to the bar for the Middle District of Florida Federal Court. Since she began practicing law, Mrs. Connors has primarily focused on practice areas involving family law issues. Mrs. Connors appreciates the role she is entrusted with by all of her clients as their zealous advocate, and understands the magnitude of cultivating positive client relationships. It is her paramount duty to be knowledgeable on all client issues and educate each individual client on their options, while facilitating the paths that will lead to the greatest outcomes.

In her free time, Mrs. Connors enjoys spending time with her husband, and their children. She gives back to our community by building a safer environment for our local children through her involvement with Safety First Pediaquatics, as their General Counsel, and as the Co-Founder and Director of Safety First Pediaquatics Lifeguardians, a nonprofit created to provide high-quality swim lessons to our community’s underprivileged children.
