With all the recent discussion surrounding Florida pool safety regulations for vacation homes, it’s a good reminder for all of us as homeowners, property managers & rental platforms to continue staying proactive when it comes to guest safety.

This week, I was so pleased to see one of the Homes of America Management team replacing an old, frayed pool safety fence with a brand new one — ensuring it fully self-closes properly, fits tightly with no gaps, and is simple for guests to put up and take down when needed.

As owners and managers, we cannot force guests to use a pool safety fence, but we absolutely do have a responsibility to ensure safety measures are installed correctly, maintained in good condition, and compliant with Florida regulations.
