And another piece of the Gateway Project falls into place... 🧩
Earlier this week the Gateway Development Commission awarded a $771m contract for the New Jersey Surface Alignment portion of the Hudson Tunnel Project to Skanska Creamer Sanzari NJSA Joint Venture, which will construct about 1.5 miles of new rail infrastructure connecting the future Hudson River tunnel to the existing rail network near Secaucus Junction. 🚆 The contract marks the seventh major construction package awarded for the and will help eliminate a critical bottleneck on the Northeast Corridor while advancing the larger effort to expand rail capacity between New Jersey and New York. 🚇
Last year Maraziti Falcon Partners Brad Carney and Joanne Vos were retained by the City of Hoboken as Construction Counsel in connection with the City’s active involvement with the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, with Brad leading the firm’s construction practice.
