It's not everyday that Sam gets to help a fellow Marine. Jeremy is a combat vet who, since he came back from Iraq, has stuggled PTSD related issues, such as trouble being in crowded buildings. That includes buildings like the revenue office and court houses. (You may see where this is heading.)

Of course, this led to numerous citations for an expired license and eventually arrests for failures to appear and driving on suspended in several counties.

Jeremy is working on his issues, and when he came into our office he was already accepted to a treatment program in Florida organized by the Wounded Warrior Program. Only problem was all of his pending tickets and court appearances, which included a couple of repeat driving on suspended offenses. (Which means mandatory jail time.)

Thanks to understanding prosecutors and judges in the 3rd and 16th Judicial District, after explaining the situation and his plan to fix it, Jeremy had most of his charges dismissed, and didn't have to go to jail. He now has his driver's license back and is on his way to Florida to get treatment that's long overdue.

Jeremy, thank you for your service and for allowing us to help you out (and talk about it on Facebook). Good luck in all you do and Semper Fidelis.

We are excited to announce that Sam has graduated from his Jag course at the US Army's Judge Advocate's School in Charlottesville, VA! He is now back in Arkansas and is taking consultations again starting this week.

We often get the question: "does this mean that Sam is leaving Arkansas?" Nope! Sam, isn't going away. He is now a Jag officer in the Arkansas Army National Guard, which means that he will be drilling about one weekend a month, but still will practicing law locally, and taking cases in Cave City and the surrounding area. We are currently taking cases in family law, estate planning, criminal defense and many other areas, so if you have a legal need, give us a call today!

We are proud to announce that Mr. Keefer has graduated DCC and is officially done with half of his journey. We are ready to take clients again. Things will be a little different still. Mr. Keefer is still stationed in Virginia but while he is there, we are able to schedule zoom consults with him on the weekends. If you are needing help with your legal needs, please reach out and leave a voicemail and Mrs. Tymina will call you back and get you on the schedule. We appreciate everyone's patience and support through this journey and we are excited to get back to it! Please share this post so we can spread the word around.

In preparation for Mr. Keefer going to bootcamp our office will be open this week from 8:30-12 (noon). If your call is not answered please leave a message and Tymina will get back with you. If you need to meet outside of these hours please let Tymina know and it can be arranged. Thank you for all your understanding and support as we navigate through a few changes.
