Exciting news! Kelso Drivers Licensing office will reopen in a new permanent location starting this week.

Cowlitz County residents can breathe a sigh of relief – the new, permanent Kelso driver licensing office is opening next Thursday, July 2. It’s in the same building where we’ve held our mobile licensing events since January. Appointments are available now!

A few reminders:

All boats in Washington State expire on June 30th. Our schedule is slightly modified next week for the holiday and we don't want anyone to get caught without their boat license for the weekend!

Our schedule next week is Monday - Thursday, normal hours (9am - 5pm) but we are closed Friday in observance of the 4th of July holiday. We are also closed on Saturday, July 4th.

Have a safe and happy holiday weekend, and come see us early in the week if you need any vehicles or vessels renewed!

Our office will be closed Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. We will reopen on Saturday, June 20th for our regular business hours (9am - 1pm).

Good morning! Wanted to alert you to another opportunity for local driver's license services. Friday 1/30 and Saturday 1/31, a mobile DOL unit will be set up at the Kelso Public Library. See attached slide for more details.

Another way to renew your expired license is to visit the Washington DOL webpage at www.dol.wa.gov for most basic drivers licensing services.

A reminder that our office does not handle any drivers licensing services. Our services are limited to those related to your vehicles/vessels.
