We have some bittersweet news to share regarding two of our incredible team members. Our Executive Paralegal, Ayda Atici and our Office Manager, Allison Squires will be transitioning to part-time roles as they prepare for a major new chapter: attending law school this fall!

While we will certainly miss their full-time presence around the office, we couldn’t be prouder to see them take this next step in their legal careers. Their hard work and dedication to our clients has been unmatched, and we are excited to support them as they transition from colleagues to future attorneys.

Recently, our senior Attorney Benjamin McLawhorn had the opportunity to spend time in beautiful Asheville, NC, attending an intensive Family Law CLE. While the mountain views and the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Asheville provided a perfect backdrop, the real highlight was the opportunity to engage in collaborative learning with some of the best family law minds in the state.

There is nothing quite like stepping away from the desk to gain fresh perspectives. Having discussed the most recent developments and rulings from both the NC Court of Appeals, and the N.C. Supreme Court, Ben is excited to be back at the office energized, informed, and ready to put these new insights to work for our clients!

Celebrating another milestone for the firm at a Raleigh classic!

The entire team at The Law Offices of Benjamin T. McLawhorn recently gathered at Irregardless Cafe to toast to the incredible hard work and success of our employees. It was a wonderful evening celebrating both our (rapidly growing!) firm and our wonderful families and partners that make it all possible.

With delicious locally-sourced entrees and a fantastic variety of vegetarian-friendly options, the food was stellar. We are so grateful for our dedicated team and the support systems behind them that keep us moving forward!

We had a fantastic time at the Wake County Bar Association’s annual picnic! What a wonderful opportunity to step away from our desks and enjoy an afternoon of genuine camaraderie with our colleagues and friends in the legal community.

It is so important to reconnect with a group so dedicated to public service and the betterment of Wake County. Strengthening these professional bonds allows us all to serve our clients and our community more effectively.

A huge thank you to the organizers for putting together such a seamless event, and a special shout-out to Sam Jones BBQ, the food was absolutely world-class and definitely a highlight!
