I took this photo five years ago when I lost my dad; I had to get out, as I could not sit inside—the shock was too much. The photo pops up in my memory during this time of year.

This got me thinking: my dad's favorite singer was Bob Dylan, and he once sang, "The times they are a-changin'." Nothing stays the same forever. So, to all those who thought they missed their chances at buying a home: no, you have not. Things are about to get interesting. Times are changing, and fast.

So many factors are at play here. So many life-changing events happen to everyone every day. Five years ago, I lost my dad unexpectedly; that changed my life. Our parents are getting older, and our families are growing and shrinking at the same time.

All I am saying is, don't fall prey to the media hype. You do you. Also, put in that offer; you might be surprised. Take chances; you only have one life to live.

Ok not everyone can afford a tub with a view like this but if you can do it. If your can't a vacation home with a hot tub will work just fine too.

Northern Nevada has a few small towns with lots of Hidden charm; most people drive through on road trips and never stop to see what they are like. I have done many road trips in my day and often drive by to get to my destination, not realizing it is about the journey. When you take time to enjoy new places, it makes life just a little more exciting, even if it is just a small town. It is the little things in life that often make the biggest impacts, so give yourself a little more time to enjoy the journey and take a little break in a small town; you never know, it might just become your next hometown.

Stop to enjoy where you are. Sometimes just a quick stop is all you need for a little reset. I spotted to check out Washoe lake today I was happy to see a few Pelicans are still around. Maybe migratory birds stop by this lake on there migratory path. Washoe valley is a beautiful underrated area. So many drive by every day but never take the time to enjoy it.

If you live in Carson Valley you have probably driven past this place many times. It is worth it to check this place out for somw lunch and maybe you will get lucky and win back the money you spent on lunch. It could be a win win. You never know. Either ways its a good time.

Had to go out the Sparks for some Real estate classes and as I am driving back I see this.

Hey California we would really like it if you could stop catching on fire. Or please keep it to yourself. I hope this one's is stopped before it gets near Reno. Kind of crazy how many fires have started in this area so far.

Don't forget to have your yearly backflow test done. Not all homes have this. If you have a sprinkler system, irrigation, pool, or well for irrigation you might have a blackflow that needs to be tested yearly to make sure your Nonpotble water doesn't go into the clean water for drinking. Just another added yearly expenses for some homes not all.
