There’s a reason fall deserves a second look if you’re thinking about buying. 🏡

Realtor.com’s latest housing research identifies September 27–October 3 as the strongest week nationally for the overall combination of buyer-friendly market conditions.

The data shows more inventory, less competition, a slower pace and listing prices that have eased from their seasonal peak.

But I wouldn’t tell anyone to buy a home simply because a report says this is the week.

Real estate is local — and timing is personal.

The bigger takeaway is that buyers who stepped away during the busy spring and summer market may want to start looking again. More choices and less urgency can create something incredibly valuable in real estate: room to make a thoughtful decision.
