In honor of Women's History Month, G10 Law is spotlighting Jill Trost, our dedicated litigation paralegal. Over her seven years with the firm, Jill has seamlessly performed in roles as office manager and accounting manager and now in her current position, where she excels in legal operations. Her journey into the legal field began after a successful career spanning 15 years in management and HR, where she worked with prestigious companies such as Starbucks and Walt Disney World, bringing invaluable experience to her role. With a B.A. in Organizational and Interpersonal Communications from Arizona State University and a Paralegal Certification from UCSD, Jill has been a vital asset to G10 Law.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jill's favorite hobbies include attending sporting events with her husband and friends, traveling across the country to support their favorite teams, and finding solace in nature through hiking and camping in National Parks. Committed to giving back, Jill is an active member of the San Diego Paralegal Association, demonstrating her dedication to both her profession and her community. Rooted in her favorite quote by Walt Disney, "In order to make good in your chosen task, it’s important to have someone to do it for. The greatest moments in life are not concerned with selfish achievement but rather the things we do for the people we love, and whose respect we need," Jill personifies prioritizing meaningful relationships and impactful contributions over personal achievements. As Jill reflects on the significance of Women's History Month, she sees it as an opportunity to inspire the next generation, including her nieces, to pursue their dreams and lead by example, just as she strives to do every day.
