Corner of Carlsbad Village Dr and Ocean Street. This beach access has been part of my whole life. I used to surf here as a kid, then came down with my parents, and now I bring my own kids down these same stairs.

I’ve lived in Carlsbad for over 40 years, and the Village still surprises people. Lunch at Fresco, and here’s my favorite local tip: Knockout Pizza will deliver right to the beach. 🍕🌊
