Leeds Brown Law has a remarkable record of standing up for the rights of students. We recently represented a student in a case against Molloy University filed in Nassau Supreme Court. The lawsuit pertained to the university charging full tuition for the Spring 2020 semester, despite all classes and services transitioning online due to the onset of the pandemic. Our dedicated and skillful team navigated through intensive negotiations and litigation and successfully defeated a motion to dismiss. Ultimately, after persistent legal action, we reached a favorable agreement. Molloy University has agreed to a settlement. This victory underscores our commitment to protecting the rights of students and our resolve to ensure justice is served.

About 5,000 Molloy University students who paid full tuition before the pandemic forced classes online will be reimbursed an average $900.
