Some many decisions are based off the next 5-10 years, but in this situation, it was a decision that is meant for generational support to the local kids. The Santa Cruz County real estate market for Single-Family Homes remains highly competitive across many of our beautiful areas! Here’s the breakdown for October:

• Hot Sales: Homes in Soquel and Ben Lomond sold above list price, with Soquel leading the pack at an average of 101.6% Sale v List Price.

Santa Cruz also exceeded asking price on average at 100.2%.

• Fastest Sales: If time is money, Soquel is king! Homes there flew off the market in an average of just 10 Days to Sell.

• Highest Average Prices: Aptos leads the county with an average sale price of $1.7 M, followed closely by Soquel at $1.62 M and Capitola at $1.50 M.

• Inventory Update: We saw a healthy volume of sales county-wide! The city of Santa Cruz had the most activity with 33 Sold Listings, followed by Aptos with 25.
