As a graduate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, with dual certificates in Health Law and Law and Business, she comes with 15 years of contract manufacturing industry experience in food and will be able to understand both the practical and legals aspects of your issue. She also sits as Vice-Chair on the Mitchell Hamline Food Law Advisory Board with other very active food attorneys in the Minneap
olis area. Additionally, Kayla brings to the table 15 years of owning rental properties so has real-life landlord/tenant experience, and can provide proven insights to manage your rental business or construct lease agreements. Lastly, residing in a small community, she is able to assist with more general civil legal matters. Kayla, having been raised on a dairy and crop farm in rural Winona MN and active in agriculture clubs such as 4H and American Dairy Association, understands the importance of working hard, keeping the family farm alive, and minimizing risks for all involved. She would rather discuss legal issues over a fence post than in a marble-studded office. Kayla resides with her husband and 5 children at their Sogn family farm where they proudly raise beef, pigs, chickens, a donkey, cats, dogs, and recently 4 ducks.
