Taxpayers please monitor your NY state refunds.

We are aware of NY's tax computation errors and issuing erroneous calculation letters.

If you receive a letter changing reducing your refund amount or requesting additional payments please let us review the letters before any actions are taken.

Beware, postmarks are no longer prove date of mailing!

Due to USPS system changes the postmark is not always immediately applied to mail and can be delayed. If you have time sensitive mail you may ask the postal service to hand stamp the mail.

Just dropping that tax return off at your local post office may no longer be proof that you met the deadline.
