About Us

Mara was born in Cadillac, Michigan and attended Pine River Area Schools. She received her B.A. degree in 1994 from Michigan State University. Mara then went on to receive her J.D. degree from Creighton University School of Law located in Omaha, Nebraska.

Upon returning to Michigan, Mara focused her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administrations, guardian and conservator matters, and real estate. After practicing law for 22 years, Mara opened Raven Law Office, PLLC in Cadillac, Michigan.

Mara married her fellow Pine River classmate, Lynn Spence, who is a realtor with Re/Max Central in Cadillac. Mara and her husband reside in Tustin with their dogs, Cosmo and Sammi.
