I want to let everyone know the following notice is still in effect and appointments may be made by calling 346-2336:
NOTICE: My law office will remain open barring more extreme measures taken by those in authority to stop the spread of the virus. In this regard I want to let you know I can handle most or all of your business by telephone, including initial consultations. However, the only new cases I am accepting at this time will be bankruptcies mainly because they require a minimum of face-to-face contact. This is for the protection of yourself and anyone else you come in contact with. If you wish to meet in person I will do that so long as we both are following the rules about not going out if you are ill, feeling ill or have been in known contact with someone with the novel coronavirus COVID-19. Masks are required. Otherwise, I can handle your case by telephone and by U. S. Mail, and limit your travel to no more than one office visit. We can send each other the required documents and obtain your signature in that manner. As for court appearances, the bankruptcy court has procedures in place to handle any hearings by telephone. Filing is done electronically. Anything that has to be done in person is being adjusted to either excuse your personal appearance or otherwise make accommodations.
