Last month our client was exonerated, vindicated, and restored of his dignity after being wrongfully accused of 1) sexual assault and 2) indecency. The jury deliberated for 20 minutes or so, after 4 days of evidence, before returning its’ not guilty verdict. Special thanks to our trial team Attorney Ray Rodriguez Jr., Investigator Dennis M. Zamarron, and our expert Rachel Fischer SANE, RN.
If you are wrongfully accused how do you prove something DID NOT happen? Especially when you don’t anticipate the allegation and it hits you days, weeks or months later.
If you are a teacher, coach, counselor, going through a divorce or separation, etc you are at a higher risk of exposure to false allegations. Educators define boundaries with your students and do not cross them. Be vigilant and know your surroundings, follow school policies, and have a witness when necessary. A person can be arrested and formally charged with very little evidence.
Be careful out there and remember that Our community takes the safety of our children very serious.
