Brooke and Sara are at the today for Elder Law Section and Trust and Estate Section meetings. Brooke is the chair of the Elder Law Section and leads meetings on current issues for attorneys and other professionals in this area.

A snowy afternoon at the Capitol! As chair of the Elder Law Section, Brooke spent the afternoon in committee on behalf of the section to support new legislation that ensures the rights of vulnerable adults are better respected in protective proceedings.

Brooke Brestel was honored to speak about The Uniform Guardianship, Conservatorship, and other Protective Arrangements Act at the Colorado Bar Association’s Biennial Advanced Elder Law Institute on Monday. Brooke serves as the co-chair of the Elder Law Section’s subcommittee reviewing and adapting the uniform law for Colorado.
