John Vitola has been a pillar in the legal community of Hernando County for over three decades. His career began in Brooksville in 1983 as a prosecutor for Hernando County. He opened his first office on Main Street in 1989 before settling into the
historic building that has been home to the Law Offices of John R. Vitola since 1991. During that time, John has successfully represented thousands of members of this community. He won millions of dollars for his injured clients and the families of those wrongfully deceased. He kept hundreds of wrongfully or overly charged criminal defendants from facing unfair convictions and jail time. He helped mitigate family damages for loved ones going through some of the hardest times of their lives while handling their divorce and custody battles. And now, he’s pouring all of that knowledge, experience, and compassion into this new endeavor: VITOLA & CARD. VITOLA & CARD will feature two familiar faces who both joined the firm in 2022: John’s son, David Vitola, and his daughter, Lindsay Card. David spent the last three years as a prosecutor in Hernando and Citrus counties. David is a true litigator who loves going to trial and is ready to fight for justice in the courtroom. As someone who knows the inner workings of this Circuit, David is the advocate you need on your side to overcome whatever criminal charges you may be facing. Lindsay spent two years as a prosecutor in Osceola and Orange counties specializing in Economic Crimes before joining the office this year. Her passion is in the field of Personal Injury. Before prosecuting economic crimes, Lindsay worked for over 10 years in the Personal Injury field in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Hernando, Citrus, and Orange counties. As your attorney, she is here to provide unyielding support while maximizing your financial recovery. VITOLA & CARD is now much more than just a law firm. It is, quite literally, a family.
